Having gone through the same system myself, I understand how overwhelming certain topics can feel and more importantly, how to break them down into something manageable. In my lessons, I focus on helping students simplify complex questions into simple straightforward parts. I believe that once a student truly understands the logic behind a question, scoring becomes much more consistent. I also share answering techniques and common exam traps to help students approach papers with greater confidence. I am currently tutoring two Secondary 2 IP Science students and 2 Secondary 4 O Level students Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. Experience and Dedication: I would try to understand the student's learning style, guiding them through practices and provide them with step-by-step explanations, asking them questions on the way to prompt their understanding. I would then move towards more challenging questions, and keep track of the students weak topics to practice more frequently. Additionally, I would leave homework for the student to see their learning progress when they study alone. My classmate that I tutored for 3 years obtained 96% on their SL chinese IB exam, and my other tutees also obtained IB 7.
