Experience and Dedication: Throughout my teaching and learning support experience, I have consistently been dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment for students of different academic abilities and backgrounds. During my time working in schools, I supported teachers in lesson preparation, classroom management, and providing individual guidance to students who required additional academic and emotional support. I take pride in being patient, approachable, and adaptable, especially when working with younger learners or students who need more confidence in their studies. Through home tutoring and academic support, I focus on helping students strengthen their understanding of concepts, improve their learning habits, and build confidence in their abilities. I also tailor my teaching methods according to each student’s pace and learning style to ensure lessons remain engaging, effective, and comfortable for them.
Experience and Dedication: I have experience teaching primary school math (P1–P5) to my cousins and my friends’ younger siblings as well as helping some of my peers with math during that period.
Experience and Dedication: I am a tutor with 15 years of experience working in an educational therapy centre supporting preschool, primary school English and Mathematics, and secondary school Mathematics students with learning needs.
I conduct lessons in 1.5-hour structured sessions using clear, step-by-step instruction, multisensory activities to help children stay engaged. During the COVID period, I also conducted online lessons for preschoolers and adapted lessons for effective home-based learning. I place strong emphasis on building confidence, breaking learning into manageable parts, and giving frequent encouragement and feedback so students feel safe to try and learn from mistakes. I partner closely with parents and school teachers to update and address concerns to maximise each student’s learning outcomes.
I hold a Science degree from NUS and a Diploma in Learning Needs from DAS (Dyslexia Association of Singapore) to support children with conditions such as autism, dyslexia, mild intellectual disability and ADHD.
I have a couple of NT OR G1 secondary school students who failed their Maths and English , yet managed to secure a B grade in their N levels.
Under my intervention, a couple of P6 students who also struggle greatly manage to pass their Maths and English, thereby transiting smoothly to a Secondary school.
Experience and Dedication: My teaching approach is child-centred, engaging, and adaptable. I use interactive activities, storytelling, and hands-on learning to make lessons enjoyable and meaningful. I focus on building strong foundations in language and numeracy while supporting each child’s pace and learning style. I encourage participation, confidence, and positive behaviour through gentle guidance and reinforcement. I also observe students closely to adjust my methods and ensure effective learning and development.
Experience and Dedication: I had worked as a teacher 5 years in China. After then I have worked as a relief teacher and as a tutor more than 20 years. I have extensive experience. I have a deep understanding of the characteristics of Singaporean students. I am here for you! Let us work hard together for our children!
Experience and Dedication: Experienced special education professional with 15+ years in curriculum development, teacher training, and student support at a special needs school. Led Social Emotional Learning, curriculum design, curriculum reviews, and MOE SEL translation projects for school implementation. Delivered professional training in curriculum, assessment, and Sexuality-Relationship Education (SRE). Extensive experience supporting students with ASD and multiple disabilities, coaching teachers in classroom and case management, and developing enrichment and individualized education programs to support diverse learner needs.
Experience and Dedication: I myself have been a failing student and I found out myself the methods to improve from failing to straight As.
I understand the students point of view and its not always that they dont want to study but instead that they dont know how to study. Through my experiences with teaching my juniors in secondary school, I have found my own teaching methods to allow students to reach the best of their abilities while being in a comfortable learning environment (With healthy pressure of course).
I prize myself as a caring tutor who genuinely cares for students wellbeing and being able to push the students appropriately without stressing them out too much
