Experience and Dedication: I started playing the piano 17 years ago when I was 5 years old. I went to a music school (Christofori). Looking back, the main struggle I had was overcoming the learning curve of sight-reading and maintaining accurate rhythm when playing a piano piece. Hence, I believe in setting a good theory foundation eg. sight-reading and key signatures, in order to transition to effective practice sessions. Furthermore, I have worked in a child-care centre before starting University and have since learnt how to work effectively with children. Young children are usually curious and energetic; hence, good patience and understanding would effectively help a child grow and develop their musical skills.
