Experience and Dedication: I have been teaching violin since 2022, providing one-to-one lessons to beginner students in a music school setting and in a string ensemble setting. I focused on building strong foundations in posture, bow hold, finger placement, rhythm, and basic repertoire within a patient and encouraging learning environment. I have also taught Primary 3–6 students during music and enrichment sessions as part of the SCGS–Dazhong Primary School Exchange Programme, using age-appropriate and engaging methods to introduce musical concepts. As Section Leader of the SCGS String Ensemble, I led weekly sectionals for junior players, mentored younger students during rehearsals, and supported their confidence and ensemble skills. In addition, as a member of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO), I have mentored younger orchestra members during combined rehearsals and performances, guiding them with empathy, clear communication, and adaptability, while maintaining comfortable and open communication.

.I have been teaching primary and secondary students since 2024, I have helped my students achieve stellar improvements from their previous results. I tailor my lessons to focus on each of my students’ needs to ensure steady and consistent progress for them.
Experience and Dedication: I use a personalised, structured, and results-driven teaching approach, adapting each lesson to the student's pace and learning style. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, logical steps, supported by custom worksheets, guided practice, and targeted revision. My lessons emphasise understanding rather than memorising, helping students build long-term confidence and strong academic foundations.
One of my strongest achievements is teaching a Secondary 1–3 student (through a family connection) in English, Maths (E-Math, A-Math), Biology and Chemistry. When I first started tutoring her, she struggled with A-Math (grade E) and was scoring only C/B grades in her other subjects. Over the course of three years, through structured teaching, consistent guidance, and progressive skill-building, she improved steadily and began achieving A and B grades across all subjects.
Her parents observed her dramatic improvement and the confidence she gained, and they strongly requested that I continue tutoring her for Secondary 4, especially as she enters her national examinations year. I will be guiding her through her O-Level preparation for all the subjects I’ve taught her since Sec 1.
Beyond academic improvement, my students appreciate my patience, clear explanation style, and supportive mentorship. These strengths are further reinforced by my experience teaching underprivileged students at DREAMS Academy and my leadership roles in Red Cross and MUN, where I regularly taught, presented, and explained complex ideas in simple, engaging ways.
My approach creates a learning environment that is supportive, structured, and goal-oriented, consistently helping students achieve measurable improvements and greater confidence in their studies.
Experience and Dedication: • Adapt teaching to each learner’s level and goals
• Break complex ideas into clear, simple steps
• Provide examples, analogies, and guided practice
• Use spaced repetition and active recall techniques
• Give immediate, constructive feedback
• Encourage critical thinking and independent problem-solving
• Track learning progress and adjust methods accordingly
Experience and Dedication: I was a volunteer tutor at TYA Hougang and taught underprivileged children ranging from the preschool to secondary level weekly ans twice a week closer to the major exams. I have a strong passion for education and would like to with my own method uncover the hidden gem in every child. The PSLE students I taught achieved results far beyond their expectations
