Experience and Dedication: I have 2 years of volunteering experience teaching underprivileged Primary School children when I was in JC (2022-2023). I have come across all kinds of students, from the focused and inquisitive to the uninterested and hyperactive. I am patient and understanding of the needs of each student, and able to tailor lessons accordingly to gain their fullest attention and focus. Additionally, I gained great familiarisation with the current primary school syllabus. I also have 1 year of experience teaching a Secondary 2 student Mathematics and Science, and under my guidance he was able to improve from F9 to A2 for Maths (6 grades) and D7 to A1 for Science(5 grades). I am still extremely familiar with the syllabus as I went through O level and A level in recent years. I am patient but very determined on building up the fundamental skills which are key to easy marks and lay the bedrock for consistency in grades. I plan to help the student master these skills, move on to tackle harder challenges that make the grade an 'A', and develop confidence in knowing what to do without my intervention. I myself wasn't a perfect student and did poorly in my lower secondary academics. I am very familiar with the tough process involved to redeem oneself and get up to speed. I have come back multiple times and won the Edusave Good Progress Awards every time because of it. You can count on me to know what to do when your student stumbles or plateaus academically. PSLE(St Anthony's Primary): Math-A*, Science-A, English-A, Chinese-A O level(St Josephs's Institution): Emath-A1, Amath-A1, Pure chem-A1, Pure physics-A1 A level(National Junior College): H2 Math-A, H2 Chemistry-A, H2 Physics-A, H2 Econs-A
