Experience and Dedication: I major in Communications and New Media, and minor in Chinese Language. Hence I am able to improve students’ sentence structure and word choice. I am bilingual, thus able to code switch when necessary. As a tutor, I am also patient, understanding, responsible, and able to build rapport with students. I have been giving Chinese tuition for 3.5 years. I have 9 students, ranging from p2-p6. I am currently teaching 4 p6 students. Under my coaching, my students were exposed to more Chinese vocabulary and idioms, which helped them achieve a better grade for their composition. Also, my students were able to work on their comprehension independently after going through my tips and after drilling. I also prepare my own notes and customize lesson based on students' language ability and study needs. Moreover, I provide a list of good phrases that will help student to refine their writing, and provide tips for oral and comprehension. I am conducting most of my lessons via zoom, thus I am very familiar with tutoring online.
