Experience and Dedication: My current tutees have shown tremendous improvement. 2 of them (P4 and P5 from Marymount Girls school and Hendry Park Primary) managed to improve from a fail to 72 marks and 80 marks respectively for their SA2 in 2018 when I only started teaching them in mid-April 2018. The rest of my tutee scored an average score of 80 and above. One of my P2 students from St Nicholas Girls school and a boy from Kuo-Chuan Presbyterian primary had received an award for most improved subject (Chinese). A K2 student who does not know basic Chinese improved to 95 marks in Chinese for his P1 SA2 result and scored full marks for his P2 SA1 paper. He is currently getting a steady 85 to 90 marks for his P3 topical test paper. Hence, I am confident that they will make more remarkable improvements in the following months. Additionally, my 3 PSLE students in 2018 scored 2 As and 1B for their PSLE Chinese result respectively (noting that the student who scored B have been failing Chinese since she was in P4) for 2017. Those who scored A for PSLE improved steadily from 55 marks to 75 and 80 respectively for their SA1 and SA2. For 2019, I have 2 PSLE students who scored A and one student who scored C. (The students who scored C have been failing Chinese since P3. For students who scored A, improved from a grade B to A.) 1 PSLE student from Henry Park primary scored A in 2020 with my help since she was P2. In 2020 and 2021, 3 of my O-level students from ACS, Raffles Girls and St Nicholas scored A2, B3 and A2 respectively. Currently teaching students from MGS, St Andrew’s juniors, St Nicholas primary, St Nicholas secondary, Henry Park primary, Marymount Convent Primary, Anglo Chinese. Familiar with Primary, Secondary’s MOE syllabus, IP and IB syllabus as well. I have 13 students currently, from a range of P1 to Secondary 4. I also have Japanese, Korean and Australian students who are taking CSP and conversational Chinese (leisure and business purposes). All of my students are still having online lessons with me now since March 2020 hence I have relevant experience in teaching online. I am sincere in my teaching and am passionate in making the lesson more interesting for the students.
