Experience and Dedication: Taught primary school relatives for math and science P4 MYE TO EOY - Math: 56 to 85 - Science: 64 to 92 Tutored at various girls homes and student care centres. I will go through concepts for Math and Science as it is important to be clear of these concepts before moving on to P5 where there is more content to be learnt. There will be emphasis on answering techniques for science as precision and keywords are important for structured questions. To teach the student, I will use assessment books and past year papers. I will also collate notes and bite-sized notes/mindmaps for collating information especially for science. I will assign work and ensure student is on task. Student will be able to clarify any questions regarding school work, own assessment work, etc. I believe that it is important to lay a strong foundation especially before upper primary in order to ensure that the student is confident of their abilities as well. I also believe it is important to treat my students with patience and care and will seek their opinions and actively alter my teaching method to best cater to their needs. There will also be open communication between me, the parents and student to set and work towards goals together.
