Experience and Dedication: I am a Hong Kong born Singaporean, trained in Violin and Viola. My early years of training at age 6 was under Ms Toni Tang and Prof Tseng Yen Yih of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Also trained under Mr Liu Chi Chiu, Dr Gilbert Kak, the former co-concertmaster of Hong Kong City Chamber and Dr Kitty Cheung, the co-concertmaster of HK Sinfonietta. I graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music Studies in 2016. I worked as an ensemble assistant for several orchestras and choirs in HKBU for 4 years and has been appointed stage manager for departments of several multi-group concerts. After graduating, I came to Singapore and studied under Mr Foo Say Ming in June 2016. I taught privately and also as a Part Time Violin and Piano Instructor with The Ballet & Music Company Ltd. In this school, I taught individually as well as in small group setting with students age 3 to 12 yrs. I also performed with the MacPherson Philharmonic Orchestra in the 1st violin section. My current professional teaching experiences includes teaching, training and conducting as substitute Violin Instructor in the Singapore Primary Schools’ String Ensembles under Metropolitan Music for the past 3 years.
