Experience and Dedication: Hello, I’m Shanmathi, a current year 2 undergraduate student in NANYANG TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. *Strong in Mathematics & Science *Currently tutoring 3 students * Personally, I enjoy tutoring because I am confident in teaching my strong subjects to students of all paces and strive to make them develop an interest in the subject and work hard to improve themselves. * I focus on a few strategies for my students, whether it is one to one or a group - l expand their learning beyond the basic concepts by sharing every day concepts, such as observations they make and link them to the concepts taught so that it is engaging and easier for them to retain their learning - Furthermore, I also ensure to throughly go over foundations before practicing questions I provide on different levels, from basic conceptual questions, commonly tested questions and higher order questions. * I am comfortable and strong working with students of different learning paces and am patient, and always understand their strengths & weaknesses along the lessons and approach a study method suited to their individual needs * I possess patience, an extent of discipline so that my students effectively use their time during tuition lessons & minimise their distractions * Along with my patience I strive to converse with students so that they feel comfortable to clarify their doubts with me Overall my aim is to provide my best teaching to ensure students and parents can benefit from the learning I provide. I have previous experience teaching under the tuition centre Happy Tutors Learning Centre, for upper and lower primary students.
