Experience and Dedication: As a L2 certified teacher, I nurtured the wonder of learning in a class of 20 pupils from Nursery 1 to Kindergarten 1. Throughout my journey, I constantly scaffolded the children's learning through a variety of teaching strategies and hands-on and play activities that cover their holistic development. These activities include nature exploration to spark the children's sense of curiosity for the world around them, fine and gross motor skills activities for their physical development, 2D - 3D arts-and-crafts making to enhance their creativity, exploration of fundamental Mathematics concepts like non-standard measurement as well as English Phonics through story reading, phonics exploration and writing. Moreover, as an Early Years educator, I assist in instilling children's innate desire for independence as I encourage them to execute their daily routines independently such as cleaning up after themselves, feeding and toileting. As a fellow colleague, I too continue to demonstrate initiative when offering to assist other educators in preparing learning resources and caregiving routines. I have also been heavily involved in many of my childcare's event planning such as termly excursions, internal festive celebrations, Parent-Teacher conferences and community collaboration projects.
