Experience and Dedication: • Teaching PSLE, O levels physics and chemistry, lower sec sci for close to 2 years, in both group and 1-1 private tuition. • Currently have sec 3 and 4 tutees with similar subjects — N levels combi physics, O levels pure chem & pure phy. • In-depth understanding of science subjects taught as I took O levels pure chem & pure phy, and A levels H2 chem & H2 phy. As the H2 sciences at the A levels is a more demanding of similar concepts of the PSLE & O levels, this has fervently equipped me with skills to simplify the concepts even more to my students. • Well-verse with the syllabus to reinforce main learning points to students to ace their examinations. • Patient and accommodating to different students’ learning styles. Uses interactive learnings tools to cater to student’s unique learning abilities. • Teaching style: 1. Analysis of student’s understanding of subject 2. Mainly help guide student’s assignments, give topical head start to boost student’s learning in school and guide them through a revision plan to ace their upcoming examinations 3. To further support student’s revision, I will curate personalised supplementary materials to specifically cater to student’s learning needs so as to accelerate their learning progress, whenever necessary 4. Motivates my students to enjoy learning the subjects even more by using interactive learning methodology such as providing conceptual test and homework weekly etc.
