Experience and Dedication: Experience tutoring with EduHope SG @ Yuhua Community Centre with primary school kids, ranging from Primary 2 kids to primary 6 kids. Experience tutoring secondary 3 and 4 students as well. Most of my friends tell me that I am very friendly and understanding as a person and I interact well with others because of these traits. I personally feel that I am pretty empathetic and meticulous when doing work, as well as when teaching students. As for rapport building with the tutees, generally, I prefer to use the first session to get to understand the child's needs and struggles with their academic studies, as well as the areas they may be weaker in, also to get a rough gauge on how to best engage the child. I would also consult the parents in terms of certain needs the child has, or teaching methods he/she prefers as well as how he or she best learns.
