■ During flexible adjunct teaching, taught students
Mathematics.
■ Developed worksheets, activities and lessons plan via
online tools i.e.K5 and Super Teacher.
■ Provided emotional support to students by showing
empathy and practising active listening after classes.

that I was always there for him and gave him affirmations
when he could adhere to the rules. I also created and
fostered relationships with parents and students.

Co-organiser of cyberwellness week, brought students to
attend competitions. Launched a cce programme that
required studens to unleash their creatively to create
boardgames. I guided students to create board games
similar to Monopoly to communicate the importance of
cyberwellness.
● Bedok North Secondary School (July 2012 to Dec 2013)
1. During contract teaching, taught students in the Normal
Tech Stream. Head of Department of Science was
impressed that I was able to connect and relate to my
students. The disciplinary issues decreased by 20%.
● Hua Yi Secondary School (Jan 2010 to June 2011)
1. Worked as an intern in the school, taught 2 classes of
Normal Academic Stream with more than 35 students who
needed more help in Chemistry. Students gave excellent
feedbacks. 15% of improvement made in their end year
examination.
2. Took initiative to prepare notes for teachers and summarise
notes for students.
