Experience and Dedication: About me: - graduated with Bachelors of Science honours (Highest Distinction) at NUS - currently working as a scientist - I have 7 years of private tutor teaching experience with primary school levels (Math & Science) and is very familiar with the syllabus and how to teach students - very patient and effective in adopting different ways to engage students' learning - able to summarise key concepts - provide students support in fundamental and challenging practice questions to further improve their learning and understanding - one student had all As in P2-P5 Science while the other student improved from fail (27/100) to pass (65-74/100) in P6 Science PSLE in 6 months. Another student scored AL3/4 for P6 Science consistently. Currently teaching a P3 student who had just improved her Math from fail to AL1 and scored AL2 for Science with no prior knowledge of Science - was a part time student care teacher at a primary school, guiding them homework questions including challenging Science questions - responsible teacher who is passionate in teaching and enabling the student to excel academically - will provide parents with class updates and student's progress after every class About my classes: - For Science, I will be providing a book of common questions and scientific keywords for the questions for the students spelling for all topics start from P3 to P6 and each lesson, I will be testing their spelling from this book for them to familiarise with answering techniques and keywords - For Math, I will go through the basic concepts to strengthen their foundation. - For Math and Science, I will also be practising common exam questions from assessment books and past year exam papers in the classes - I am very confident that the student will improve in Math and Science as seen from my previous students results - Able to commit long term till students PSLE - If you still have doubts, I am very willing to have a video/voice call for you to ask any questions for me :)
