Experience and Dedication: Experienced in the Montessori Method, which helps children recognize basic phonic sounds, blend sounds, identify sight words, and read sentences and passages. This method is systematic and enables children to progressively build their reading skills. Montessori teaching also includes math concepts involving numbers up to 9999, teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—with and without change—as well as division with remainders. Number bonds and multiples of 2, 5, and 10 are also part of the Montessori Math curriculum. At PCF and MFS, I taught numeracy concepts within the range of 1 to 20 and introduced phonics using the Jolly Phonics and Reading Bee lesson plans.
