I achieved an A* in PSLE Mathematics, A in PSLE Science, and continued to score A1 in both A-Math and E-Math for my O Levels. I also have a strong foundation in the Arts (A2 for O-Level Art), which helps me bring a creative and flexible approach to my teaching. As a tutor, I believe in adapting to each student’s pace and style of learning. I take the time to gauge their level of understanding and build up their confidence from the ground up. If a student is struggling, I revisit foundational concepts from earlier chapters or years, and explain them in different ways until it clicks for them. I strongly believe in the power of practice—whether the student is already strong or needs more support, I use practice papers and structured exercises to reinforce learning and reduce careless mistakes. Patience and encouragement are at the core of my teaching. I work at a pace comfortable for the student, and I pride myself on being able to build strong rapport with children and teens.
