Experience and Dedication: Hello! I am currently a second-year undergraduate at the National University of Singapore. I was previously educated at Rosyth School (Primary), Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary), and Raffles Institution (Junior College), and am very familiar with the MOE syllabus. I also attained a perfect score for the GCE A Levels. My teaching approach is patient, concept-focused, and adapted to each student’s pace. I ensure that students have a solid grasp of the foundational concepts before moving forward. For exam preparation, I provide targeted practice papers, review their answers thoroughly—especially mistakes—and help build confidence through consistent and focused revision. Previously, I volunteered as a tutor for 2 years with Project Budding Minds, where I conducted weekly 1-to-1 tuition sessions for underprivileged Primary and Secondary students. This included teaching English, Math, and Science. During the pandemic, the programme shifted to online sessions, and I learned how to keep students engaged virtually through rapport-building, regular check-ins, and interactive teaching techniques. Many of the students I taught started with weak academic foundations, and I worked patiently with them to close those gaps. I am bilingual in English and Chinese, and adjust my teaching style to suit the individual needs of each child.
