Experience and Dedication: I am a kind, patient and responsible MOE-trained Art, English and General Paper teacher as well as counsellor who believes in working closely with my parents and preparing my students in advance.
Apart from teaching students how to learn and harness hard skills effectively and efficiently, I also help them to acquire and develop soft skills through life lessons, which are important in today's everchanging global world. In a nutshell, fail to plan means plan to fail.
I was promoted thrice in 2000, 2002 and 2007.
The classes I was in charge of in 2005 and 2006 won the 'Best Class Discipline' Award a total of 4 times.
I was given the joint National I stitue of Education Nanyang Technological University-Esso Mobil Caring Teacher Award in 2004 and the Temasek Caring Teacher Award in 2007.
I was nominated for the President's Award for Teachers organised by the Ministry of Education in 2004.
I obtained a Silver for the Innergy (Schools) Awards at the Ministry of Education's Excel Fest in 2010.
I garnered the Temasek Innovation Award (Team) for my outstanding contribution in 2009 and 2010.
I also earned the Ministry of Education's Long Service Award of 10 and 15 years of loyal and dedicated service in 2004 and 2010 respectively.

I have been a Form and Subject Teacher who is trained in the teaching of English, Math, Science to P1-6
students and was in the English and Science Departments of a well-known primary school, but I was also
heading the school's Art Department and instrument in helping it garner 3 national and international
awards. In addition, I am trained in basic counselling with the Ministry of Education, taught the above-
mentioned subjects in two primary schools, English and E Math to Sec 1-3 students in a neighbourhood
secondary school as well as the General Paper to 5 classes of JC1s in a Junior College for a total teaching
service of 15 years.
