Experience and Dedication: Over the past five years, I have provided private tutoring to eight students from Primary 6 to JC2, covering Mathematics and Science at the primary level, Pure Sciences and A/E Mathematics at the secondary level (IP, Express, Normal streams), and H1/H2 Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry at JC. All students stayed with me throughout their preparation for major exams such as PSLE, O/N/A-Levels. Their preparations had tangible results, both students in the Normal stream improved from F9 to C6 for their combined sciences and mathematics examinations within half a year, while all my IP students achieved straight As for pure sciences and mathematics in their school and national examinations. My teaching approach is systematic and highly adaptive. I begin with a diagnostic review to understand each student’s curriculum, assessment methods, and learning gaps, then tailor lessons accordingly. Students needing foundational support focus on theory and concept building, while high achievers tackle advanced problem-solving and exam strategies. To reinforce learning, I use concept summaries, Ten Year Series drills, and practice papers from schools, supported by regular reviews aligned with classroom teaching. Beyond academics, I build confidence, resilience, and independent learning habits. Many students who were feeling anxious or helpless about academics eventually gained the self-confidence and growth mindset needed to excel academically and tackle challenges.
