Experience and Dedication: I had taught Mathematics for Secondary school students since my university days as a private tutor. I had also taught in tuition school setting for about 7 years. Most recent achievement was I teaching my son to pass his exemption test from Mathematics module (O level equivalenI had been giving Math tuition since I was an undergraduate studying Civil and Structural Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 1994. Ever since I graduated in 1998 with a 2nd Class Honour (Lower), I focused on building my career in the Singapore Navy till 2022. In the meantime, I also assisted my wife in running her learning centre (Little Sparkler Learning Centre, 2010-2016) and teaching Math to primary and secondary students which was well received by the parents. I have also personally taught Math to my two children through their education path, scoring As in their Math examinations. My daughter (22) has graduated from University of Queensland (Australia) in 2025, and my son (18) just completed his foundation course in Griffith College, Australia. The latest achievement being my son who was diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADHD scoring over 90% in his precourse examination to qualify for Math exemption in his Diploma course in Australia in 2025. Continuous learning has always been my guide in life, which I would like to inspire the new generation of young people. Despite having a secure career in the Singapore Navy, I continued to pursue my second-degree BA in Psychology (Business) from 2011 to 2015 in Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS) and subsequently achieved a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology with University of Staffordshire in 2022. I can also function beyond being a Math tutor to handle other administrative matters when necessary.
