Experience and Dedication: Contributed 39 years of service to MOE primary and secondary schools as an educator, a Head of Department , a Vice -Principal and a Staff Developer. With a pastoral nature, I have a passion to journey with students to help them succeed academically and to grow them with good moral values. I retired in October 2017, joined a tuition centre in 2018. Upon its closure, I took up private 1-to 1 home tuition assignments as well as online zoom lessons. I am very experienced in PSLE EL teaching and students I had taught in the last 7 years had achieved well, scoring between AL1 to AL3 for their PSLE EL grade. I also prepare foreign students for their AEIS entry exam into secondary one. Many of my tutees have been under my tutelage from P3 to P6. I am an experienced tutor with commitment and many students I had taken for the last 6 years had all improved by at least 2 grades and there were those who had scored A and A1 in the old scoring system and under the new system many students had scored AL1 and AL 2- 3. Was an ex MOE senior education officer who was NIE trained for General Cartificate, Further Professional Certificate in Education and Diploma in Educational Administration ( in training for the role of Vice-Principal)as with 39 years of experience in MOE schools. Graduated from NTU, Singapore with a BA in Education with Merit. After retirement from MOE, worked as a tutor, specialising in PSLE English teaching. Had worked with tutees of various levels from P3 to P6. All parents of my tutees had been very pleased with my commitment to the tutoring of their kids. Even, the recent parent, Melody was very pleased from the very 1st lesson started with her son.
