Experience and Dedication: I taught English language and Mathematics at Stalford Learning Centre for 3 years. I taught secondary 1 to secondary 4 students Mathematics at CDAC centres and as private students for 2 years. Teaching methodology for Math: • I use a step-by-step approach in teaching the foundational concepts before teaching harder concepts • Guidance will be provided until student is able to solve questions independently Teaching methodology for EL: For English language, I’ll ensure that all components (paper 1 to 4) are covered with the student. For writing components, such as continuous writings and situational writings, guided practice will be conducted. For paper 2, student will be taught the various question types and how to answer comprehension questions according to the question types. For paper 3 and 4, listening comprehension practices and oral practices will be conducted. Scripts will be marked promptly and compiled English language notes will be provided to student. I am also familiar with the MOE syllabus. I provide feedback and homework before class ends.
