Experience and Dedication: I am a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) graduate from SUSS and a CIMA Strategic Level candidate with a strong academic and professional background in quantitative analysis, accounting, finance and business. I am open to teaching students at Primary, Secondary, Diploma and University levels, depending on the subject, syllabus and individual learning needs. Subjects I am comfortable teaching include: • English• Phonics• Elementary Mathematics• Additional Mathematics• Science• Physics• Chemistry• Combined Humanities — History / Social Studies• Principles of Accounts (POA)• Accounting• Economics• Finance• Business My GCE O-Level results include:• Mathematics — A1• Additional Mathematics — A1• Chemistry — A2• Physics — B3• Combined Humanities — B3 Professionally, I have worked across accounting, finance, commercial analysis and strategic finance roles in organisations including Resorts World Sentosa, NTT, foodpanda and DFI Retail Group. My work has involved extensive quantitative analysis, problem-solving and communicating complex concepts in a clear and structured manner. While I do not have prior formal MOE school or tuition-centre teaching experience, I have substantial training, coaching and mentoring experience. I completed RWS Academy's Train-the-Trainer programme, have managed and mentored finance staff, coached professionals across the Asia-Pacific region, and trained 21 finance and supply-chain personnel across 11 markets. My teaching approach is patient, structured and concept-focused. I first identify where a student is having difficulty, explain the underlying idea in straightforward language, work through examples step-by-step, and then guide the student towards applying the concept independently. I believe students learn most effectively when they understand why an answer works rather than relying mainly on memorisation. Where appropriate, I also use practical examples and real-world applications to make abstract concepts easier to understand. I am particularly interested in helping students strengthen their foundations, develop confidence in problem-solving, and build a systematic approach to learning.
