Experience (in year): 1 - 2 Years

Experience and Dedication: Over the past year, I have taught in both school and tuition settings. As a Relief Teacher at Northbrooks Secondary School, I taught Geography to eight Secondary 1, 2 and 4 classes across the G2 and G3 streams. This experience taught me to plan flexibly, manage diverse classrooms and keep every student moving forward. Today, I bring that same commitment to Mathvision, where I teach Mathematics and help students build both skill and self-belief. What sets me apart is how closely I relate to my students. I sat for my own national examinations not long ago and did well (E-Math A1, Tamil A1, A-Math A2, Higher Tamil A2, Biology A2), so the stress and doubt they feel is still fresh in my mind. I use that understanding to teach the way I would have wanted to be taught: starting from what the student already knows, breaking difficult ideas into manageable steps, and focusing on why a method works instead of asking them to memorise it. My goal is for every student to leave my lessons not just with better grades, but with real confidence in their own ability.
