Experience and Dedication: 1.5 years of experience thus far. Prepared students for multiple concerts and performances. I teach piano to students of all ages, from young kids (as young as 3) to adults, through both group and 1-on-1 lessons. My approach is to keep lessons engaging by focusing on what students love—whether it's playing pop songs or mastering technique—while using creative methods to maintain their interest. I aim to instill not only musical skills but also important values like patience and discipline, helping students enjoy music and stay motivated long-term. I believe there are many ways to learn to play a song, be it through singing or solfege or reading the notes. Singing along not only helps expand their vocabulary and pronunciation, it encourages emotional expression by connecting with the song's feelings, and most importantly, it keeps practice fun and engaging!

Experience and Dedication: I have experience teaching both Primary and Upper Secondary students, helping them achieve distinctions in their EOY papers in Math, Physics and English. i will vary my teaching style depending on the aptitude and the preferences of my students. I can be both firm and patient based on what I feel is best for each student. As I will only teach a select few students each year, my students are free to ask questions throughout the week if they require outside of lesson time. They will also have the flexibility to choose their lesson slots on a weekly basis to accommodate to the busy schedule of school life.

Experience and Dedication: I am a highly experienced MOE-trained Tamil educator with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree, specialising in PSLE, N-Level, and O-Level Tamil. With many years of classroom experience across diverse learner profiles, I have a deep understanding of curriculum demands, assessment standards, and examination trends. My strength lies in my ability to bridge learning gaps effectively, diagnose students’ misconceptions early, and design targeted, structured interventions that build both confidence and competence. I place strong emphasis on language foundations, exam techniques, and higher-order thinking skills, ensuring students are not only prepared for examinations but are also articulate, independent learners. Through a student-centric and data-informed approach, I guide learners systematically towards being exam-ready, while nurturing a positive mindset and sustained interest in the Tamil language.
