Experience and Dedication: I'm currently studying for Bachelor's at PSB Academy. I'm very proficient in English because I went to an international school since I was young and have always been in direct contact with the language. I've also given tutor lessons to kids and have received good recommendations and reviews by the kids. Unfortunately I haven't received my Diploma Certificate but I will have it soon so I couldn't provide a certificate. Other than that I'm very confident of my skills in English and I'm sure that I'll be able to share my knowledge and education to the kids when I'm tutoring

Gender: Male
Qualification: O Level
Type of Tutor: Part Time Tutor
Experience (in year): 1 - 2 Years
Experience and Dedication: I have consistently been scoring straight As for both English and Chinese since primary school and I am currently taking H2 Higher Chinese Language and Literature at J1 level for the A levels, with a high competence and understanding for the Chinese Language and Chinese culture. Moreover, my strong english background and pure literature experience at the O levels can assist with translating between both languages to help better assist students who struggle with Chinese. As for the humanities, I have always been creating notes and studying methods for my classmates throughout upper secondary for history and SS and they have all achieved a minimum of B3 at the O levels and Im currently studying H2 History at J1 level for the A levels too. I would like to use the same methods to impart knowledge to help students achieve good grades at languages and arts as arts is a subject combination or subject stream that is typically frowned upon by parents and avoided by society although it could actually be very useful for niche job prospects. I also feel the urge to help people of my generation to stay rooted with their cultural backgrounds and be properly educated in the Chinese Language especially with the growing chinese economy.

Experience and Dedication: Hello, I’m Noor Arfand. As a private tutor, I take great pride in not only helping students improve academically, but also nurturing strong character and discipline. Many parents come to me when their child is struggling—often with failing grades—and I work closely with each student to turn things around, usually to a B3 or better. More than just results, I focus on building a respectful, motivating environment where your child feels supported and heard. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s learning pace and personality. With consistency, encouragement, and a strong foundation in practice, your child will thrive both in school and in confidence. I specialise in helping students who are struggling academically, especially those preparing for national exams. Many come to me with failing grades, and I work closely with them to consistently achieve B3 to A1 results. My approach goes beyond academics—I instil values like discipline, consistency, and responsibility throughout our sessions. Each student is unique, and I tailor my teaching style to match their learning pace and personality. I never reprimand or scold, unless explicitly requested by parents. Instead, I believe in building a respectful, motivating environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of growth. My mantra is simple: consistent practice, especially using Ten Year Series (TYS) papers, is your bread and butter. With the right guidance and mindset, any student can improve. One of my proudest achievements was helping a student go from F9 to A2 in Chemistry/Physics.

Experience and Dedication: I founded learnpoa.com, an online accounting learning platform providing curated notes, lectures and questions for 'O' level accounting students free of charge as a means of giving back to the society. Moreover, I was approached by Temasek Polytechnic to help in creating additional notes and resources for the Poly Foundation Programme (PFP) students studying accounting. I collaborated with the Accounting and Finance PFP lecturer to prepare lecture videos on Financial aspects of business, thus allowing me to help students with my knowledge for free as a means to helping in shaping their future. I have also collaborated with Junyuan secondary school to prepare additional lecture videos and notes on GCE 'O' level' POA subjects such as Inventories and Depreciation to further deepen the knowledge of students and ensure their concepts have a strong and stable foundation. I love to teach as it gives me joy and meaning that I am playing a part in helping students and pushing them towards a brighter and more successful future.
